As the vibrant spirit of Khmer New Year approached, Jiangxia Mining Company extended its heartfelt support to the communities of Phnom Chi in Kampong Thom Province, embracing the season of generosity, unity, and renewal.
In the village of Snang On, we had the honor of sharing essential food supplies with local families, offering comfort and care during this festive time. The heartfelt smiles and words of gratitude from community members underscored the profound impact of our efforts, reminding us that even simple acts of kindness resonate deeply, especially during special occasions like Khmer New Year.
In keeping with cherished traditions, we also distributed red envelopes to children and families, a symbolic act of blessing and encouragement for the year ahead. This meaningful gesture not only spread happiness but also demonstrated our deep respect and appreciation for local culture and traditions.
Our commitment to community development went even further this year. In addition to school and food supplies, Jiangxia made financial contributions to address local needs. Each of the four villages in the Phnom Chi area received 1,000,000 riels, amounting to a total of 4,000,000 riels. A separate donation of 2,000,000 riels was presented to the commune to further support its development goals.
